To Apply for Any Global Business Mobility (GBM) Visa, You Must:

  • Be employed by an overseas company linked to a UK sponsor holding a valid sponsor licence.
  • Hold a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) from your UK sponsor, outlining your job role and salary.
  • Meet the minimum salary and skill requirements for your specific visa route.
  • Show proof of financial maintenance—typically £1,270 held for at least 28 consecutive days, unless your sponsor certifies your maintenance on the CoS.

Eligibility and Application Fees:

To qualify under any GBM route, applicants must:

  • Prove that their overseas employer is connected to a licensed UK sponsor
  • Meet the role-specific criteria, including job level, salary threshold, and contract type
  • Demonstrate the duration, nature, and compliance of the UK assignment

 

Application fees vary depending on your route and where you’re applying from:

  • Outside the UK: £319 to £1,519
  • Inside the UK: £319 to £1,751
  • Additional charges: Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS) and Certificate of Sponsorship fee (£55) may apply
