Devi is a Partner and Head of the Family Department at Ashton Ross Law, having joined the firm in 2018. She has specialised exclusively in family law since qualifying in 1999 and advises clients on all aspects of relationship breakdown.
Devi is known for providing realistic, constructive and proactive advice, supporting clients through what are often emotionally challenging circumstances with sensitivity and clarity.
She has significant expertise in resolving financial matters arising from the breakdown of a marriage or civil partnership and regularly acts for mid to high-net-worth individuals. Devi also has extensive experience advising unmarried couples, including on prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, which are increasingly common.
In relation to children matters, Devi regularly advises parents on disputes concerning living arrangements and the time children spend with each parent. She also has considerable experience in cases involving applications to relocate a parent and child to another jurisdiction.
Devi is a Resolution Accredited Specialist in Complex Financial Remedies and Private Children Law and is committed to Resolution’s Code of Practice, promoting a constructive and non-confrontational approach to resolving family disputes. She is also a member of the Law Society’s Family Law Panel and has previously volunteered with Rights of Women and the Citizens Advice Bureau, advising clients affected by domestic abuse and working closely with local support agencies.
Prior to joining Ashton Ross Law, Devi was Head of the Family Department at a City-based law firm and has practised at firms across the Home Counties.

- Acting for an intervenor in financial proceedings and establishing her beneficial ownership of disputed assets, securing indemnity costs against the opposing party.
- Successfully defending a mother’s application to relocate a child to the Isle of Wight.
- Obtaining a divorce where the respondent’s whereabouts had been unknown for over 15 years.
- Successfully defending eight findings of fact sought by a mother, with no findings made against the father.
