Nuranessa holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Wake Forest University and is currently pursuing her law degree at SOAS, University of London.
Nuranessa is a Paralegal at Ashton Ross Law, assisting on a range of legal matters including civil litigation and immigration law. She supports the preparation of bundles and witness statements, drafts pre-action correspondence, and prepares immigration representations for complex and high-risk cases for ILR and British naturalisation.
Prior to joining the firm, she worked as a corporate and litigation paralegal at Barton LLP in New York City, United States, where she gained extensive experience in transactional work, legal drafting, and case management. Her work included advising on business disputes, including complex shareholder and partnership matters, as well as company incorporation and dissolution. She has drafted and reviewed shareholder agreements, contracts, stipulations, and closing sets, and has prepared settlement agreements while conducting legal research on case law and regulatory frameworks. She also filed documents in federal and state courts.
Nuranessa is a native English, German and Farsi speaker, with working knowledge of French.
Outside of work, she is an avid reader and plays first violin in the Camden Philharmonic Orchestra.
