As a paralegal, Niaz supports the day-to-day conduct of cases, assisting with legal research, drafting, and case management across a broad range of contentious work. She has experience preparing pre-action protocol correspondence, witness statements, and detailed representations to the Home Office and other public bodies, including in urgent and high-risk matters involving asylum, removal, and deportation. Niaz has previously worked in public law and financial litigation settings, where she assisted on matters involving legal aid funding, litigation risk assessments, and complex procedural frameworks. She has managed caseloads under supervision, liaised with courts and external stakeholders, and contributed to strategic case preparation, including disclosure reviews and ADR-related research. She has also assisted on construction and debt recovery disputes, gaining exposure to commercial litigation and enforcement processes.

Alongside her legal training, Niaz has a strong interest in alternative dispute resolution and ethical practice. She has completed accredited civil and commercial mediation training and has developed practical mediation skills through simulated exercises and written assessments. She also completed an Artificial Intelligence programme at the University of Oxford, where she examined the ethical and organisational implications of AI, reflecting her broader interest in the future of legal practice and responsible innovation.

She is fluent in English and Farsi, with working knowledge of Arabic, French, and Italian, and brings strong interpersonal and communication skills developed through formal training in leadership and public speaking. Niaz approaches her work with professionalism, care, and intellectual curiosity, and is motivated by the delivery of clear, practical legal support grounded in integrity and compassion.

Outside of work, Niaz is a keen mountaineer and has successfully summited Mount Kilimanjaro. She enjoys travelling, spending time outdoors, and seeking new experiences.
