Shivani Kaul

Shivani is a Trainee Solicitor and assists on a variety of legal matters including civil and commercial litigation, immigration law and housing disrepair.

Prior to joining Ashton Ross Law, Shivani was engaged as a qualified debt and benefits adviser at the Citizens Advice Bureau. She has acquired comprehensive experience of the UK welfare benefits system, which involved advising numerous clients in relation to their options as to the most suitable public funds available.

In addition to the above, Shivani was also responsible for advising and representing clients on a range of matters such as defending eviction proceedings and negotiating with third parties Claimants/Creditors in order to write-off large debts. She has also advised on a range of debt matters including suitable insolvency options and defending county court proceedings such as setting aside judgments.  She has a successful track record of disputing liability of debts, together with appealing DWP decisions.

Shivani completed her undergraduate law degree at The London School of Economics and Political Science in 2018. Thereafter, she finished her LPC training in 2021 and now intends to qualify as a solicitor with a view to advocating for all those in need.

In her spare time, Shivani enjoys cooking, travelling and spending time with friends.
